Division One

In a rain and county cup tie affected week only two league games took place in the first division. Larkspur Rovers are on a charge up the table, winning their fifth straight game while scoring thirty six goals and only conceding three in the process, with their 6-2 win away to the top side Oxford City Women & Girls Development. Shenice Dyer hitting the back of the net four times with Savana Fearon grabbing the other two, Emily Harris and Megan Jones replied for the hosts. Oxford stay top but Larkspur are now just three points behind them with two games in hand in second place.

In the other game Barton United helped themselves to six of the best, Sophie Hindley scoring four with Lily Wilder and Lucy Paley also on the scoresheet in a 6-1 home victory over North Leigh. Hayley Bennett scored the only goal for the visitors. Barton move up to third in the table with their fourth win in five games.

Division Two

In the only league game in Division Two, Didcot Town picked up their second win of the season with a 4-2 victory at the Npower Loop Meadow Stadium against league leaders Caversham AFC. A hat-trick from Enya Lee and one from Matilda Greetham were enough for the hosts to take the spoils. Sharpshooter Pia Davis with two more goals to add to her seasons tally scoring for Caversham.

Division Three South

Three games went ahead in Division Three South and Berks County continued their excellent run with a 5-2 victory against Marlow Town. Two goals apiece for Freya Johnson and Olivia Aluko, and one from Lauren Turk gave the three points to the hosts. Lucy Bell and Kate Addison were on the scoresheet for Marlow. Windsor & Eton are hot on Berks County’s tails and were involved in another high scoring game, this time a 7-4 win away to Wargrave. Emma Donovan (3), Sophie Kinsman (2), Emma Hester and Phoebe Beale on target for the visitors, with Kate Nichol, Katie Hawkes, Lucy Jarvis and Amy Bennett scoring for the hosts. Windsor now sit three points behind Berks County having played a game less.

Wokingham Town suffered a 2-1 reversal at Lowther Road against Barton Rovers. Ellie Summerfield and Jessica Fullbrook hit the back of the net for the visitors with Rebecca Greig on target for the Sumas.

Division Three West

Headington picked up their third win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Rotherfield United. Goals from Hope Adamson and Cecile Deer were enough to take the win and move Headington up to fifth place in the table, Rotherfireld’s reply coming from Annalea Lane.

Goals from Emily Carrington, Becky Simons and Erin Youhill Partridge were enough for Wallingford & Crowmarsh Development to take over at the top of the table at the expense of their visitors with a 3-0 win at home to Barton United Development. Barton now sit just a point behind in a very tight division with the top six separated by just three points.

The derby game between Thatcham & Newbury Town Ladies Blues and Thatcham & Newbury Town Whites was abandoned.

Developmental Division

The three games in the development division were all won by the hosts by a single goal. Goals from Georgia Hill, Charlotte Scott and Daisy Stokoe gave Rotherfield United Development a narrow 3-2 win over Arborfield with the visitors goals scored by Laura Barker and Amy Hall.

Wraysbury Village made it five teams on fifteen points at the head of the table with a slender 1-0 victory over Wycombe Saints with Amy John grabbing the only goal of the game on the hour.

Wroxton Sports sit in sixth place, three points behind the joint leaders after a 3-2 home win over Stanford In The Vale at Wroxton Sports Club. A Grace Mander  goal was sandwiched between two from Alexandra Pitcher as the hosts took a win in a close encounter. Jade Huffey and Heidi Robinson scored Vale’s goals.
