Division One

Oxford City Women & Girls Development bounced back from last week’s defeat to Ashridge with a 3-2 win at previously unbeaten Finchampstead. Some familiar names on the scoresheet for Oxford with Yasmin Edwards, Ava Daci and Faith Kingdon scoring a goal apiece for the visitors, Lauren Bagshaw and Amy Scott were on target for the home side. Oxford now find themselves six points clear at the top of the table while Finchampstead drop to fifth.

Ashridge Park also lost their 100% record for this season, held to a 2-2 draw by Wallingford & Crowmarsh at Hithercroft Sports Park. Alice Bennion scored twice for the hosts with Lucy Thomson and Eve Snelham on the mark for the visitors.

Larkspur Rovers stay in second but improved their goal difference with an incredible 12-1 away win at Haddenham. Savana Fearon scoring 4, Ellie Wright helping herself to a second half hat-trick, with Avril Clark, Kalina Georgieva, Jessica Workman, Tineka Pink and Alisha Hartland Sandiford completing the scoresheet for Rovers. Jessica Cunha-Gomes scored the hosts only goal.

Ruislip Rangers stay third with a 2-0 home win over Yateley United at Kings College Playing Fields. Krystal Follett and Kayleigh Hayes with the only goals in the game.

Barton United , Goring United and North Leigh were all on Oxfordshire Women’s Cup duty.

Sadly the loss of their first team manager and a lack of players has meant Banbury United have had to withdraw from the league this season. We wish them all the best and hope to see them back in 25/26.

Division Two

With Thame United playing in the Oxfordshire Women’s Cup, Caversham AFC took full advantage and climbed to the head of the division with a 4-1 win over S4K. Pia Davis grabbed a hat-trick for the hosts with Madison Bath getting the other while S4K’s lone reply came from Kate Stewart.

Goals from Tracey Beales and Frankie O’Connell were enough forKingsclere to bounce back from least Sunday’s heavy defeat with a 2-1 victory over Harwell & Hendred in a close encounter. Stella Bunce scored the first goal of the game but the visitors couldn’t hold on as the hosts rallied.

Wantage Town and Denham United Reserves played out a 1-1 draw at Alfredian Park. Alexandra Alexa was on target for the visitors with the hosts Steph Dearman grabbing a late goal.

Division Three South

With leaders AFC Reading not playing, Berks County stormed to the top of the league with a 7-1 win over Wokingham Town. Four from Freya Johnson, an Olivia Aluko double and one from last years top scorer Kiah Owen gave the hosts the points with Saima Edridara on target for the Sumas.

Taplow United moved into second place and made it four wins from four games with a 5-1 win away at the Memorial Ground, home of Sandhurst Wolves. Jaqueline Hanson, Emily Napier, Olivia Stewart and a brace from Sophy Barnett continued the visitors winning run, Caitlin Ryan replying for the Wolves.

Windsor & Eton made it a group of three teams on 12 points at the head of the table with a convincing 6-2 win at Brook House. Emma Donovan (2), Lauren Fallon (2), and one each from Emma Hester and Sophie Kinsman made it four wins from five games for the visitors. The Brook House goals coming from Vicki Blackburn and Millie Badham.

Marlow Town made it two wins on the spin with a 3-1 victory at the Hedsor Club against Wargrave. Sharon Muir and Hayleigh Larkin repeated their goalscoring exploits from last week, with their other coming from Sandra Rogers late on. Amy Bennett with the only goal for Wargrave.

An Aisha Abdullahi treble was enough to take the points for Harefield United in their match with Barton Rovers. The hosts move up to fifth in the table on nine points from five games.

Division Three West

Barton United Development take over at the summit of the table after a 3-2 away win at Summertown Stars. A brace from Alisha Pitts wasn’t enough for the hosts, the visitors taking the win through a Lily Wilder double and Georgia East.

Last weekend’s leaders Newbury drop down to second after being held to a 1-1 draw by Thatcham & Newbury Town Blues. Newbury went ahead from a Megan Kirby goal from a corner in the 37th minute only for Blues to peg them back with a goal from Katie Mullis.

Four goals from Annalea Lane and two from Hannah Palmer were enough to ensure a comfortable 6-1 win for Rotherfield United over Tilehurst Panthers Reserves and break their run of 3-3 draws. Ella Drake with the Panthers only goal.

Burghfield stayed in touch with the leading pack with a 1-1 draw at Headington. Susan Wright was on target for the home side with Stephanie Nelson grabbing an equaliser five minutes from time at Sandy Lane. Burghfield now sit fourth in the table with Headington sixth.

Wallingford & Crowmarsh were this weekend’s big winners in Division Three West with a convincing 8-1 win at Thatcham & Newbury Town Whites. Goals from Becky Simons, Eva Strange (2), Annabella Baroni (2) and a hat-trick from Erin Youhill Partridge for the visitors, and Lucie Slade with the Whites only goal of the game. Wallingford & Growmarsh now sit in fifth with ten points from five games.

Developmental Division

Burghfield Reserves maintained their perfect start to the season with a 5-0 home victory against Stanford in the Vale for a fifth win in five games. Two goals apiece from Katy Clapman and Georgia Hind, with Millie Caswell getting the other in a comfortable win for the home side, which also handed Stanford their first defeat of the season.

A goal in each half from Danielle Corp and Fozia Khan was enough to give Finchampstead Reserves a 2-0 win at Wraysbury Village. Finch currently sit in second spot in the table, in a group of four teams all on 15 points with Wraysbury in fifth just behind on 12 points.

Wycombe Saints made it five wins from six games with a 9-1 demolition of Arborfield to stay in the leading pack. Stephanie McDaid (4), Chloe Lewis (2), Elzbieta Hackling and Johanna Young were among the scorers for the Saints, Lucy Chapman scoring the visitors goal.

Another team scoring nine were East Oxford Reserves, winning 9-2 at home to Sandhurst Vets Warriors. An Ellie McCarthy hat-trick, two each for Jazmine Simpkin and Courtney Cooke, with Natalie McCuaig-Finlay and Poppy Jarvis on the scoresheet for the hosts. Emily Williams and Hannah Montero replying for the visitors.

Goring United Reserves bounced back from a heavy defeat last weekend to defeat E7 5-2 at Sheepcot Field. Goring strolled into a 4-0 lead in the first half through Liv Jones, Sarah Curtis, Louise Axon and Ellie-Louise Nugent before Gemma Goss pulled one back for the visitors just before the break. Another from Goss pulled it back to 4-2 before Charlotte Guppy completed the scoring ten minutes from time.

At Wroxton Sports Club Georgia Scott opened the scoring for Rotherfield United Development in the first ten minutes, but goals from Alexandra Pitcher just after half time with Ann Glover scoring a last gasp winner for Wroxton Sports in the last minute.
